Learn to massage your baby. Find out how it helps with their sleeping, digestion and colic. Get to know other families and ask for help and advice.

This inclusive session helps you connect with and understand your baby's needs. It's a hands-on experience where your baby (12 months or under) is welcome too!

Join us at our welcoming drop-in breastfeeding support clinic where parents can access friendly, non-judgemental support from our UNICEF Baby Friendly accredited team helping to make feeding a positive, enjoyable, and successful experience.

We can help with any questions, worries or challenges you may be experiencing. We can provide practical guidance, reassurance and time to talk things through. As part of a breastfeeding review, babies will also be weighed by our infant feeding support worker at around 4 weeks of age.

All are welcome, whether you're starting your breastfeeding journey, looking for ongoing support or would simply like the opportunity to meet and connect with other breastfeeding parents.

A fun, active session. Come and meet other local families and enjoy lots of play opportunities to support your child with their physical development.

This session covers lots of the essential information you need to prepare for parenthood and beyond. Delivered by family support staff.

Relationship and parenting courses – other good sources of advice and support to improve relationships in any parenting situation.

A fun session for children aged 0–8 years and their male carers.

We have a range of activities and resources for children to explore. Dads can come along to meet other dads and carers.

• Who it's for: Babies between 16 weeks and 12 months.

Check your baby's weight at 16 weeks, 20 weeks, 8 months, and 12 months and get advice from the family support team. If your baby is outside of these ages or if you have any concerns, contact your health visitor on 0300 123 7572.

• Who it’s for: All welcome, whether a child is diagnosed with or showing signs of SEND.

A great opportunity to come and meet other families going through a similar journey. Our team is also here to talk about our SEND services, guide you to other support organisations, or to just listen. Some centres offer SEND sensory sessions too.

Designed for parents and carers of children aged 3–5 years, this programme aims to:

• strengthen parent-child relationships
• support positive behaviour at home
• promote emotional regulation and problem-solving skills in young children.

With support from trained practitioners, parents and carers will explore ways to encourage positive behaviour through play, praise, and positive attention.

Sessions focus on building strong connections, supporting children’s language and social development, establishing effective routines, and managing challenging behaviours calmly and consistently.

A warm and welcoming twilight session for families with children aged 0–5 years, with older siblings up to 8 years also welcome to join.

These sessions are designed to provide families with opportunities to socialise and engage children in book sharing, storytelling, and themed activities that inspire imagination and creativity.

Our drop-in Well Baby Clinics, combined with convenient self-weigh stations, offer a supportive and welcoming space for families to check in on their baby’s growth and development and meet other families.

Our experienced team of health visitors and perinatal practitioners will provide information, guidance and support with any questions or concerns you may have.

Our health visitors will weigh your baby at specific contact points during the first two years of your baby’s life. You can also self-weigh your baby at 12 weeks, 16 weeks, 20 weeks, 8 months and 1 year. You can monitor how their first year is going as well as gain reassurance about their overall development.
